The ashes of Ash Wednesday are a symbol of repentance. Today, the first day of Lent, is a time to search your heart and surrender any habits, feelings, thoughts and actions that need to be transformed for you to be closer to God. Pray for a change of heart.
Loving Father, I long to live my life so that it pleases You.
