The Natural World and Creativity Inspire Readers

You shared your inspiration on our Facebook page; this week, we’d like to highlight your inspiration from the natural world and tapping into your creativity.

What Inspires You

As always, we asked our readers to share what’s inspiring them on our Facebook page. This week, three readers are finding inspiration in the natural world, while one is harnessing her creativity to make Christmas gifts this year.

Nature and God’s creation are inspiring Shanyn Silinski. Similarly, Alice Wood finds inspiration in “life itself.” She writes that “Seeing a flower bloom in the spring, the sunshine in the summer, the leaves falling in the autumn and snowballs thrown in the winter.”

Julie Gilleand finds inspiration in music, as well as “the sound of waves lapping the shore at Lake Michigan and a quiet house where the only sound is rain on the roof.”

Preparing for the holiday gift-giving season, Shaune Vokes is inspired by “the endless possibilities of crafts to create and make things for others. This Christmas, I’m hand-making 90% of the gifts we’ll give … it’s better to give than receive!”
