Keep Praying
When you ask, you do not receive, because
you ask with wrong motives, that you may
spend what you get on your pleasures.—James 4:3 (NIV)
If you have been praying for something for a very long
time, it may seem that God is not answering your prayer.
Know that prayer is something much greater than the
means to simply getting what you want. Prayer centers
your life and your focus on God. Trust that He knows
your destination in life and will make sure you will
arrive there.
Lord, if what I’m praying for is not to be, please help me
to turn a corner so that I begin to find new purpose and
new dreams.
