Patience…God’s Promise Takes Time
Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until
the Lord’s coming…. Be patient and stand
firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.—James 5:7-8 (NIV)
Learning to wait is a necessary part of being prepared to receive God’s promise. It’s not a matter of time, but a matter of trust. When you open your heart to faithfully waiting, you pave the way for His promises to work in your life.
Lord God, help me to learn to appreciate the waiting periods and experience every moment in the fullness of Your love.
