The Joy of a Believer
The light of the righteous rejoices, but the lamp of the wicked will be put out.—Proverbs 13:9 (ESV)
Decide to face the day with a gentle and joyous heart. Make an effort to surround yourself with positive people and experiences. If you find yourself falling into negative patterns, pray and tell God you are ready to approach life with an upbeat attitude.
Dear Lord, help me to shine Your light so others look upon me and see the joy of a true believer.
