A Day of Reflection
When they were finally tired of mocking him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him again. Then they led him away to be crucified.—Matthew 27:31 NLT
Good Friday is a solemn day for reflection. Jesus died because He loved us. He became the atonement for our sins so that we would know the power of love through forgiveness—so that we could have eternal life.
Dear Lord, give me eyes to see the triumph of the cross.
