Here and Now

I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry.—Psalm 40:1 (NIV)
Patience teaches us to live in the moment—to be completely and fully present right now. When you focus on the future and are impatient for something to happen, you lose the gift of today.
Heavenly Father, help me trust Your timing and truly live in the here and now.
