Unlikely Heroes
Then the Lord raised up judges,
who saved them out of the
hands of these raiders.—Judges 2:16 (NIV)
The Bible is filled with unlikely heroes. Often God uses
less-than-perfect people to inspire us. Ruth teaches
loyalty. Noah teaches trust. Paul teaches perseverance.
When you think that a goal is out of reach, look to the
Bible and the many examples of people living lives of
heroic faith.
Heavenly Father, release the hero within me.
