When Things Fall Apart
Be content with what you have,
because God has said, “Never will I
leave you; never will I forsake you.”—Hebrews 13:5 NIV
The word “contentment” derives from two Latin
words, con and I, meaning “to hold together.” When you
have faith in God, your mind will “hold together” so
efficiently that you can recover from any disappointment
or crisis. If you always remember that God is on your
side, you can be content no matter what comes your
way.
Heavenly Father, I can live a life of contentment even
when things seem to fall apart because I know You are
holding all things together.
