While going through my deceased mother’s possessions, I came across a small spiral notebook that she had been writing in. There were a few short stories and thoughts that brought her back to me, if only for a little while. This inspired me to start writing a memoir of my own to help my loved ones remember me one of these days.

My husband, Richard, inspires me. His kindness and common sense are my anchor. He faithfully works at whatever his hand finds to do, and does it with a great attitude. He looks for ways to make a difference in people’s lives, whether with a word, a song or a prayer. He inspires me to be kinder!

Ann Ho-Gland
My Facebook friend serving in the military has been deployed to Japan to render aid as necessary. Her service is my inspiration this week.

Edward Grinnan
Guideposts readers never cease to inspire me, especially the Prayer Fellowship letters we read from you every Monday morning around our conference table at 9:45.
