September can be a stressful month for kids. Going back to school, entering college, or simply the winding down of summer and need to get back to routine can bring about anxiety and stress. That’s why OurPrayer developed Children’s Day of Prayer. On September 6 th Guideposts staff, trained volunteers and online community will gather in prayer to lift up the needs of the children.

Dear Lord, Thank You for the blessing of children. Please watch over them as they begin school. Help them feel Your comfort and love in the halls, classrooms and dorms. Open their hearts and minds to new opportunities and lessons. Lavish them with joy and peace as they put their trust in You.
